R
ob and Aliss Cresswell were long standing members of their local church in Chester having both been members since teenage years from its charismatic renewal roots in the 1970's.
After graduating from Rick Joyner’s MorningStar School of Ministry in South Carolina in 2006 the couple returned home to the UK determined to ‘press on’ with what God had invested in them. They soon established a reputation for prophetic evangelism and using the gifts of the Spirit in the public places. They launched a Friday night equipping ministry called 'School of the Spirit' to encourage the body of Christ and release others into their giftings.
In 2007 they pioneered a church plant from Northgate Church called ‘New Life Blacon’ on a large Chester estate. ‘Café Life’ was established to engage with the community and soon became an exciting place of healings and salvations.
2010 has seen the launch a high street Christian resorces shop in Chester city called 'Spirit', a social enterprise engaging volunteers for works of ministry and funding the charity objectives of GloryFires.
Aliss is a 'healing revivalist' with a great desire to see revival come to the nation through Gods glorious presence.
The couple currently live in Blacon, Chester with their two children Romany and Phoenix.
Accountability: New Life Blacon Community Church receives support and relational covering as part of the MorningStar Fellowship of Churches and GloryFires has strong links with local church leaders through 'Link-Up' - a relational network of churches including many Christian denominations and streams.
