    S

oS is an equipping ministry designed to help you understand your authority in Christ and your unique calling and purpose in Him.

Each session is 'stand alone' and as such it is easy to come along to individual sessions as your time allows.

We have highlighted some of our guiding values and some teaching methods we employ from time to time.

    Permission

SoSA safe place where it's okay to make mistakes

At School of the Spirit we endeavour to cultivate an atmosphere of
permission which removes the fear of judgement and allows people to make
    mistakes.

    Practise

SoSA place to try something new

At School of the Spirit we encourage you to try something new.
Much of our learning in church meetings is concept based.
The danger of this is it produces Christians who can explain Christianity
but do not experience it. We learn when we do.

    Presence

    SoSA place where each one
may learn freely from the Holy Spirit

As School of the Spirit suggests, our teacher is ultimately
the Holy Spirit. That is why worship is so important; because as
we draw near to Him, he draws near to us. (James 4 vs 8).
We are learning from the Holy Spirit who is our teacher and
the Lord Jesus himself (John 14 vs 26; 2 Cor 3 vs 18).

    Activation

    SoSJust Do It!

We often have a time of participation or activation
to accompany a teaching. These give people some
'hands on' practice in a secure learning environment.

People do not have to take part in activations.

    Warship

    SoSWorship and Intercession

From time to time an SoS meeting will be entirely
    dedicated to worship and intercession.
These are times for pressing into God and seeking
his direction and soaking in his presence.
